Piston Ring Springs

Piston Ring Springs are made of alloy round wire tempered in oil and wound as cylindrical helixes. It makes a circular shape since its both tips are joined by a piece. Piston Ring springs are designed to create a peripheral force. When they are used, they are put under pressure peripherally and forces tangential to the spring surface appear on all periphery of the spring.

Piston Ring Springs are manufactured in the forms of grounded heads, single pitch or variable pitch, and with ground spring surface when requested. Our Piston Ring Springs manufactured in compliance with ISO 6626 standards have been approved and are already used by the company Federal Mogul. Piston Ring Springs are used to seat the oil rings in the piston rings into the cylinder wall perfectly and to control the oil by applying a pressure.
